Digos Cable TV Network
Digos Cable TV was established in 1993 to serve the cable television needs of Digos City. Today, Digos Cable serves several thousand homes with over 80 kilometers of cable laid in and around Digos City. DCATV, as it is known utilizes both fiber optic and coax cable so serve the cable needs of Digos City with over 56 channels on its menu.
In 2009, Digos Cable introduced its broadband service and started to bundle the service of internet and cable combined. Digos Cable uses a wireless platform to offer internet service to its to its cable clients. Under the division of Digos Cable Broadband, subscribers can now enjoy high speed internet with very reasonable subscription packages that are either bundled with cable television or through pure stand alone service.
Digos Cable also launched its cell shop store in the same year. Subscribers of Digos Cable enjoy preferred rates or discounted prices with their purchase of mobile phones of their choice over other customers or non subscribers.
As a value added service, Digos Cable opened a Western Union Money Transfer branch last January 2011 to serve its existing clientele and the outlying environs in its area of operations.
