In celebrating the Christmas season, HomeChannel Network holds its annual Christmas Madness Raffle Promo from October 1 to December 20, 2011. HomeChannel, in partnership with Panasonic, will be giving away over P25, 000.00 worth of prizes that includes 1 unit 24" Panasonic Flat TV for the First Prize, 1 unit Panasonic Washing Machine with Dryer for the Second Prize, 1 unit Panasonic Electric Stand Fan for the Third Prize, and 10 consolation prizes of P500.00 worth of gift items. The raffle draw will be on December 22, 2011 at the HomeChannel office.
Here are the promo mechanics:
- Promo is open to all subscribers in current standing. For every payment, a chance to get 1 raffle ticket for the promo.
- Increase your chances of winning by paying your next subscription bill on or before due date to avail 1 additional raffle coupon. Payments made in advance prior to promo period are not entitled to avail a raffle coupon.
- Prizes not claimed within 60 days after promo ends will be forfeited in favor of HomeChannel upon the approval from the DTI.
New Payment Centers Now Available

To cater subscribers from the north and south areas of Davao, HomeChannel Network has accredited two new payment centers. HomeChannel subscribers can now pay their bills at Super Negosyo outlet located at the Ground Floor of Gaisano Mall, J.P. Laurel Ave., Bajada, Davao City and at LSF located beside the Customer Service Center at the Ground Floor of NCCC Mall, Matina, Davao City. Subscribers can avail a discount of P50.00 on the said payment centers during discount period which is on or before the 5th day of the month.
Home Channel Launches City Wide Security and Surveillance Demo
Home Channel Network formally launches its in depth "Proof of Concept" demo of a CCTV Surveillance solution for the City of Davao. In ceremonies held at the Marco Polo Davao on March 14,2011, Home Channel executives together with partners and honored guests from the City Government and private sector, the system went online with a live coverage of 15 key areas in San Pedro District and the City's entry pointin Barangay Sirawan. This will provide security surveillance coverage of the said areas for two weeks, to showcase and demo the system's capability.
Considered as a deterrent and proactive surveillance solution, the system is an advanced professional security system with a new smart video analytics feature Known as the Geovision System, the package will give the City the following value-added features such as:
1. Face Detection Technology
2. People, Object, or Vehicle Counting
3. Missing and Unattended Object Detection
4. Visual Automation
5. Scene Change Detection
In addition, the system can provide added integration solutions such as, License Plate Recognition and a ready link capability for real time data transfer and video monitoring/surveillance transmitted to any point that will be considered as the City’s monitoring and security center.
Home Channel hopes to impress the viability of the system in the city, as well as a possible partnership in the inception of a proactive security solution for a peaceful and investor friendly Davao City.
